Manea is a world where humans are not the dominant species, but rather are tolerated for their skill sailing. Humans are directly responsible for past damage to the planet and the surviving species hold their descendants responsible. Many theorize that had it not been for the Amazons, humanity would probably have been enslaved if not hunted down and literally devoured.The dominant sentient races of Manea are the Minotaur, the Naamar (cat folk, which subdivide into Leandar, Taagar, and Paantar), the Centaur, the Al Karak Elam, the Merfolk, the Gnomes, and the Awoken Beasts (Hengeyokai or Speaking Animals) as well as Lizard Folk (who are universally reviled and unfriendly).
