the Heroes of Abydos -- in a place beyond time, crafted during the time of the Morganti Empire (Atlantis), the heroes saved all of Oerth from Chaos and destruction, for which Istus, Goddess of Fate and Patron of the Tarot rewarded each with their likenesses.

Amberwood -- the Witch's Fief of Furyondy, hub of the Amberwood gate network connecting Furyondy to Portown, Klarr, SeaHaven, and beyond, home to temples to Athena, Corellon, and Bahamut, as well being ruled by his Champion on Oerth, the Baron, Moorak Drake of Amberwood, nearly a County made up of the three smaller baronies of Amberwood, Shadowbrook, and Lionsgate fused into one, all on the boarder of Iuz and the Horned Society.

Klarr -- a mountain town deep in the Gnarley Forest with dozens and dozens of ogre skulls on spears lining the roads into town and a reputation to match, home of the giant-slaying party the Fabulous Five as well as the White Witch, the Green Witch, the Red Witch, and the Brown Witch (not really!), node on the Amberwood gate network, Viking town hosting the workshop of Oerth's greatest living human smith, a lesser temple to Frey, and a high temple to Apollo.

SeaHaven -- between Bellport and Kaport Bay, there is a small bay sheltered by rocks and reefs forming a nautral harbor where a small, bustling city of trade and innovation has blossomed. The Laird, a foreign hero who bought his title, has transformed the sleepy backwater with amazing shipwrighting and nautical lore. The lady is a strange seer with unusual "magics" including a windmill, running water, central heating, magical lighting, and more. Meanwhile, several other great heroes also dwell there.

Eon -- roughly 1300 years ago, after the Rain of Colorless Fire and Invoked Devastation, refugees found and settled this virgin world, which was promptly forgotten by all but the most erudite of seers. More than twenty years ago, the two worlds were reunited when Kalavor and Jessica Talgris reconstructed the Tower of Illusion and encountered the Queensland.
